Join our fourth webinar in anticipation of the 14th ITS European Congress to discuss the topic ‘Services for Cities & Citizens: Mobility at your door’. The webinar will take place on Thursday 21 April, from 2:00 pm to 3:15 pm (CET), covering two main themes of the Congress: Services for Citizens and Cities as Logistics Hubs. The ITS Congress team have invited a couple of experts to discuss their vision and solutions, both practical and regulatory, for achieving safer, more accessible and more sustainable mobility.
The webinar will be hosted and chaired by Lisa Boch-Andersen, Director of Communications, Congresses & Events at ERTICO, who will also provide an update on our preparations for Toulouse. ERTICO CEO, Joost Vantomme, will introduce the strategic significance of the Services for Cities & Citizens topic. Chacasta Pritlove, Public Sector Account Executive at Google, an ITS Toulouse Congress Partner, will also present on the topic.
Vladimir Vorotovic, Director of Innovation and Deployment at ERTICO will then moderate the panel presentations. For this 4th edition we are pleased to welcome as panellist:
- Poala Chiarini, Policy Officer, Innovation and Research at the European Commission DG MOVE, will talk about the European Commission’s Urban Mobility Framework and a vision of zero-emission city freight logistics and last-mile delivery;
- Samuel Pierce, Project Manager at Cycling Industries Europe, will present cargo bikes as the solution for zero-emissions urban logistics;
- Tiina Leinonen, Project Manager and Mobility Coordinator at the Climate and Environmental Policy Unit, City of Tampere will talk about the importance of data in support of the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP) objectives.
